Many different wonderful species of birds live on the island of Pulau Ubin! Children can join artist Alpana LIVE as she draws the different birds commonly sighted at Ubin, with focus on Hornbills. Some interesting facts will be shared as the children draw and paint.

This tour is for current, former residents of Pulau Ubin and their family members. If family members are attending the virtual tour from the same location,only one person needs to register for the tour.

The Pulau Ubin Heritage Virtual Tour will introduce the tangible and intangible heritage of Pulau Ubin. Participants will virtually experience Pulau Ubin via google street view, old photos and hear from residents about life on Pulau Ubin.

Join Dr Imran and Kah Hui where they would discuss with you about the possibilities of dissolving the natural-cultural dichotomy in frameworks for the restoration and conservation of the island’s physical landscape through fieldwork documentation of four houses in Kampong Sungei Durian and Kampong Surau in eastern Pulau Ubin. 

Interviews of current and former residents, and research into the settlement's histories using a socio-cultural landscape approach to the island's tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
